Solo Art ExhibitionNovember 2018


Katty Smith is the 3-Dimensional Artist Spotlight winning artist for the month of November 2018. She is a Florida based artist and sculptor. Her work reflects her love of the female spirit. Sculpting women in clay is Katty’s specialty and the partial to realistic female face is a defining trademark of most of her works. Her intention is for the faces to exemplify the female human spirit of strength and/or compassion. 

Katty’s Art Exhibition will be featured on the website for the month of November 2018. The gallery will promote Katty and her work on the Fusion Art website, in Fusion Art’s Artsy.net Gallery, individual online press releases to hundreds of outlets, email blasts to over 2500 collectors, galleries, buyers and art professionals, in online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s extensive social media outlets. Fusion Art’s objective is to promote the Artist Spotlight winning artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.

Katty Smith’s Biography

Born and raised in the small town of Halifax, Virginia, Katty left home to attend the University of N.C. Women’s College, but ended up marrying her high school sweetheart two years later. The journey in life began that would include two children, an MBA, three grandchildren and twenty-five moves.

At age 65 she discovered her passion in life, sculpting in clay. After studying sculpture two years at Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah, GA, she moved to Florida and continued instruction for three years at Crealde School of Art.

Katty is currently a studio artist in New Smyrna Beach, FL, where she is affiliated with various artists’ organizations. Her work has been accepted for numerous juried exhibits, where she has won awards including four “Best in Show”.
