Artist Biography
Dennis Casey captures the magic of nature’s solitude. Based out of Fort Worth, Texas, his photography focuses on the splendor of mountains, deserts and oceans of the American West and Southwest. His distinctive style conveys the feeling of what it is like to be alone in nature.
A native of San Diego, CA, Dennis retired as an educator in 2013 and moved to Texas to become a landscape photographer. He continues to teach business at Weatherford College. When he is not teaching, he spends his time searching for remote places of beauty from Canada down to South America.
Dennis has spent his entire life travelling the world as a surfer, climber and backpacker immersing himself in the beauty of both land and sea. These experiences come to life in his images. As for the theme of his photography, the artist states, “My goal is to produce images that allow other people to actually feel my outdoor experiences, and to give them the feeling of being alone in nature.”
Dennis’ artwork has been shown in exhibitions and art shows around the country, such as Art Expo New York, Art Santa Fe, and Art San Diego. He also has work on display in various galleries including Circle Foundation for the Arts, Amsterdam Gallery, Las Lagunas Gallery and others.
