Artist Biography

Chad Sain is a professional photographer located in California. Discovering a passion for photography after an extensive career serving in the military and working in business, his photographs highlight the extraordinary often overlooked within the ordinary that surround our lives. His works, while spanning different genres and compositional elements, often rely on simple, colorful, sometimes playful views of real-world objects and scenes.

Having spent many years surrounded by water, this collection conveys the unique sense of tranquility that continues to draw him to water’s edge, fueling the soul and being lost in the beauty of these moments. Like ripples which build upon the water’s surface, that peacefulness is often fleeting, contrasted by a certain disorientation resulting from the hectic pace of today’s world.

Chad has studied in multiple art schools as well as worked under the tutelage and mentorship of professional photographers that share his artistic views. He is the recipient of 2 Bronze Awards in Digital Color Photography from the American Advertising Federation, Honorable Mention in Fusion Art’s 4th Annual Cityscapes Exhibit, as well as having his works displayed in several southern California galleries. He has gained recognition as an events photographer, with experiences ranging from sports to concerts to community celebrations. He has received special recognition from the United States Congress as well as the City of San Bernardino for his continued commitment in volunteering his talents in promoting the arts and service to those in need.
