Solo Art ExhibitionJanuary 2019
Bette Levine is the Digital & Photography Artist Spotlight winning artist for the month of January 2019. She is an award-winning Palm Springs based photographer and digital artist. Bette’s work is a mix of digital photography and artistic techniques that compels the viewer to participate in the story created by her photo-art composition. Her “Stair Study” series was inspired by a fascination with stairs not just for conveyance but to lend motion and fluidity to the space. The addition of the red ball in each of these photographs is designed to spark the imagination of where it might go, where you might go.
Bette’s Solo Art Exhibition will be featured on the website for the month of January 2019. The gallery will promote Bette and her work on the Fusion Art website, in Fusion Art’s Artsy.net Gallery, individual online press releases to hundreds of outlets, email blasts to over 2500+ collectors, galleries, buyers and art professionals, in online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s extensive social media outlets. Fusion Art’s objective is to promote the Artist Spotlight winning artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.

Bette Levine’s Biography
Bette Levine is known for her mix of digital photography and artistic techniques that compels the viewer to participate in the story created by the photo-art composition. She notes that she often asked what kind of photographer am I – nature, landscape, urban, portrait. Her reply is, “Yes, to all, because wherever I am, whatever the circumstances, I am looking for subjects to photograph that I can just sense will help me start a conversation.” Her most recent work overlays textures, multiple images, digital brush-work, and camera effects.
Bette Levine’s Artist Statement
To me, photography is magical. My initiation into photography was as a kid helping my dad in his in darkroom; expose paper to light, stick that in a tray with chemicals – and like magic an image appears. Light changes an image, angles and reflections play on our emotions, a newspaper left on a bench begs us to capture that moment of someone’s story. Now with the endless stylistic possibilities afforded by digital tools I continue to reach further into artistic expression to explore the fusion of photography with the artists palette. My goal as a digital photo-artist is to engage you not just to see but to feel. Not to replicate an image, but to draw you in to the image. To tell you a story. Or to get you started with the story you want to imagine.
