2nd International Photography ExhibitionJuly 15, 2018 – October 14, 2018
Welcome to Fusion Art’s 2nd International Photography Exhibition.
For this open (no theme) competition, the gallery invited photographers, worldwide, to submit their best work using analog, digital, digital manipulation and/or any alternative processes for an online group exhibition. Photographers over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their best representational and non-representational photography and digital art.
We’d like to thank Stephen Baumbach of Stephen Baumbach Photographic Studio & Gallery, and the newly formed Palm Springs Photographic Center, for serving as Guest Judge for this competition. Stephen is an internationally award winning photographer practicing his craft for over 45 years and Fusion Art is honored he agreed to jury the show.
We once again received a diverse collection of quality work from photographers all around the world including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, China, Israel, France, Denmark, Germany and the Czech Republic.
The Best in Show winner is Dale O’Dell for his digital photograph, “Your Room is Not Ready”. As the Best in Show winner, Dale is invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 3rd Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in February 2019 and will also be invited to include his photograph in Fusion Art’s Artsy.net gallery.
Other award winners include Second Place winner David Herholz for his photograph, “Lisbon”, Third Place winner Steven Manolakis for his fine art print, “Burnt Orange”, Fourth Place winner Luna Ciesla for her digital photograph, “Kern Aldar d’entre les Mondes”, and Fifth Place winner Tatiana Lind for her photograph, “Candid.”

The Honorable Mention winners are Martha Nance for her digital photo artwork, “Beethoven”, Peter Connolly for his digital photograph, “Teapot”, Chad Knight for his metal print, “Business Man of The Apocalypse”, Harry Longstreet for his photograph, “Just Take Me Home”, Rachael Waller for her photograph, “Riders on the Storm” and Rosemary Miklitsch for her photographic print, “Walking a Fine Line”.
The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplify uniquely creative talents and we’re honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.
As always, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the competition participants. While not all the artwork and artists who submitted were selected for inclusion in the exhibition this in not necessarily a reflection on any one artist’s talent and/or skill. It takes courage for artists to offer up their art up for critique by others and all the artists should be applauded for their efforts. We appreciate all of you sharing your extraordinary talent with us.
For anyone interested in purchasing any of the artwork in this exhibition, please contact the artists directly. You will find the artist’s website and/or email information below their work.
